(Allentown, PA) Representative Charlie Dent (PA-15) announced that he will be holding a public forum on the issue of heroin use and prescription drug abuse this Wednesday, March 11th in the auditorium of the Kutztown Area High School. The discussion will begin at 7 PM and will last until 9 PM.
“Heroin use and prescription drug abuse are damaging our communities and taking an awful toll on our young people. Cities and towns in Berks County, and surrounding counties, have seen real suffering as a result of both,” said Representative Dent.
“Local leadership on this issue has been exceptional, to the best of my ability, I also want to lend a hand,” Dent noted. “I’ll be bringing officials from law enforcement and members of the medical community to the forum to offer their insights into the problem,” said Dent.
