(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – Representative Charlie Dent (PA-15) Has been chosen by members of the Tuesday Group Caucus to continue serving as one of the organization’s co-chairs.

The Tuesday Group is a collation of more than 50 Center-Right oriented House Republicans. The members focus on the need to govern, specifically to perform the basic duties of government such as responsible budgeting and a better appropriations process.

“I am honored by the continued trust in my leadership that the members of the Tuesday Group have shown by naming me as a Co-Chair,” said Dent. “We face numerous challenges moving forward on issues ranging from health care to reforming the tax code and growing the economy to benefit workers and families. I look forward to working with my Tuesday Group colleagues to advocate for responsible, commonsense solutions to address these issues and to move America forward,” Dent noted.

Representative Dent will be joined by Representatives Elise Stefanik (NY-21) and Tom MacArthur (NJ-3). “I look forward to working closely with Representatives Stefanik and MacArthur as co-chairs. They each bring valuable experience and ideas to the Tuesday Group that will be a great help as we navigate the major issues looming in the coming year,” Dent concluded.
