ALLENTOWN, Pa. Representative Charlie Dent (PA-15) hosted his seventh annual job fair in Pennsylvania’s 15th Congressional District today. The event was held at Springhouse Middle School in South Whitehall Township, Lehigh County. The three-hour Job Fair offered an opportunity for local residents, who are either unemployed or looking to make a career change, to connect directly with prominent employers in the region.

“I’m thrilled to bring this event back to our community and help these local businesses meet with qualified individuals from the 15th District,” Dent said. “Although the economic environment has steadily recovered over the last few years, there are still a number of people who are looking for a new or different career. I’m encouraged by the turnout we saw today, and I’m grateful to the employers who participated.”

Over 400 individuals attended the event, highlighting 58 employers, including the Allentown Police Department, LANTA, Lehigh Valley Health Network, Mack Truck and others. Representative Dent made brief remarks at the beginning of the event, and extended his gratitude to all of the employers and attendees for their participation.
