To improve disaster preparedness across the country, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will conduct the first nation-wide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) tomorrow at 2:00 PM. At 2:00 PM, television and radio programming will be temporarily interrupted, and an announcement will indicate the EAS has been activated. This announcement will only be a test. Please do not be alarmed when you see or hear the message. You will not need to take any action.
