Meet Genesis Ortega, the newest member of my District Staff. Genesis graduated Allentown Central Catholic High School where she was on the Cross Country Team. She is a graduate of Moravian College where she majored in French and International Management. Genesis is also fluent in Spanish. She is a resident of Allentown as are her parents, Juan and Lucia Ortega. Genesis will serve as a Constituent Affairs Representative in my Lehigh Valley Office.

Honored to take part in the Eagle Court of Honor for Scott Harrison Schmidt. Scott's a scout with Troop 242 of the Hope Lutheran Church in Cherryville. Proud Eagle Scout parents Carolyn and Scott Schmidt joined us for a picture.
Outstanding turnout and interest shown by students across the 15th District regarding applying to our US Service Academies. Senator Toomey and I held our joint Information Day on Saturday, April 2 at Hamburg High School.
With Bethlehem Mayor Donchez, Stephen Repasch of the Bethlehem Authority and Ed Boscola, Director of Bethlehem's Water and Sewer Departments. We toured Bethlehem's water supply source in the hills of Carbon and Monroe counties.
It was a pleasure to meet with members of the PA Farm Bureau in March. We discussed the crippling costs of overreaching federal regulations and other issues important to Pennsylvania's farm families.
